My favorite music moment of 2009? Would have to be partying it up with the one and only Rockstar Librarian and the rest of our lovely group of ladies at Hookahdome on burn night.

Loved the list last year. I have kept it on my desktop now for a year.
I look at it all the time. Dex Stakker at OT was particularly hot. Good times!
You do great work. Looking forward to what is becoming known as “The List”.
See ya in the dust!

Highlight of 2009 would have to be El Papachango at El Circo Saturday night. GROOVY. Also, thanks for being totally awesome!

2009 favorite moment: Beats Antique with Lynx & Janover at the Do Lab’s stage…
want to say THANK YOU for creating the calendar – it helped me find a lot of things last year!

In the past I’ve printed out copies and gifted them en mass, but this year, the list will be massive and so I won’t be able to financially take on bringing 100 or more copies to the playa, like I’ve done in the past. Anyone have any suggestions for me?

You are amazing – thank you for all your work compiling a true treasure guide each year!

Loved the guide last year. Higlighted the few that were important to me and forgot about the rest. Let synchronicity take its course.
Favorite: Infected Mushroom at OT
So powerful and beautiful! Danced my ass off!!
**THANK YOU**

*Donations int he form of printed copies (People can give them to you so you can pass them out since people are looking for you)
*Mass Notification that you wont be bringing hard copies, remind people to print theirs (and maybe an extra or two for the early arrivers) and send love. <3

We want to have your children!! Since 2006 (I guess same time frame), I had been putting together my own comprehensive lists of DJs and sound camp schedules. It was fun to put together but the formatting from so many different camps and how they ordered things was always a little bit of a hassle. Then I stumbled upon your list in 2008 and all of a sudden there it was!! Just what we were looking for from the get go. I tell my camp when YOUR list is coming out and add my own events and other things of interest to it, but honestly there’s no point anymore. With the RL list this year, I don’t think we need anything else. Thank you SO MUCH for putting it together. Dance whores like myself are in your debt year after year. This is one of the best playa gifts of all time.

Thank you! The list has grown from 2 pages in 2005 to… wait for it… 8 double-sided pages this year…

Bass Camp in 2009! I ran into bass camp on multiple occasions BRINGING IT! I never got a chance to thank them properly for bringing that sound system.

I was planning on printing a bunch of copies and handing them out, and using my offic printer (hehe…”business expense”) to do so. If you’d prefer to hand them out (I of course will be giving credit where credit is due), let me know where you’re camped and I’ll bring by a bunch for you!
Thank you so much for doing this!

Feel free to print and distribute at will! Please, anyone who is inclined, print and pass out!

With epic fail over and over again at OT, the best tunes came from our neighbors who spun some amazing tunes at their afternoon “Bubble Lounge” party.
I look forward to DJ Palotai (Budapest, Hungary) who will be at Distrikt, Nexus, and Root Society. A truly unique emergent DJ who deserves recognition. Check him out!
Let us know when you have the 2010 version done, please!

Thank you! I’m working on it. A small paypal snafu that should be settled shortly has caused it’s delay…

I loved every single one of Ana Sia’s sets that I saw last year. Beats Antique was also awesome.

Thanks so much for putting together the definitive guide year after year. I always bring a bunch to hand out as gifts.

THANK YOU!
Best set i experienced was sunrise service Thurs. morn. @ Hookahdome with my gal
as the wizard Cheb i Sabbah channelled the magic.

I never got dubstep until I saw Bassnectar and Mimosa last year at Simpler Times. I was told to go check out Tipper at Simpler Times but ended up finding out I was watching Mimosa. Sick shit!!! Bassnectar’s Sunrise set was dope too. And of course Elite Force, Meat Katie, DJ Dan, and Carl Cox all were sick at Opulent Temple.

My favorite music moment in 2009 was on the night of the burn. I don’t know who the DJ was but it was Root Society that I heard a track I LOVE: “We know what is what, but we don’t know what is what, what the fuck?” (I’m not sure why I like this track, but I really do and have only heard it one other time). I was standing at the front dancing like a possessed girl happy as pie 🙂 I kept getting offered help to get on stage but I was loving being in the crowd with the people.

Perfect! Now I can sleep at night…I realize after I posetd that comment I should have emailed it to you privately. I didn’t want to post it as a comment onto your blog so that at least it wouldn’t reside there permanently. Thanks for taking it in good humour!Cheers,Connie
